Salomé Pichon has a double degree in History – History of Art and Archaeology from the university Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (2017), and a Sanskrit degree from the University Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle (2020).
She specialised in Southeast Asian Studies during her Master at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (2020).
She is currently engaged in a doctoral research under the guidance of Arlo Griffiths (EFEO) and Peter Stokes (EPHE), doing a project on a digital modelling of epigraphic data, for the comparative study of agrarian practices in Campā and Cambodia (from the 9th to the 10th centuries CE).
In the DHARMA project, Salomé Pichon will participate in the EpiDoc encoding of inscriptions both of Campā and of Cambodia .
